Reflection:

Anne was curious about sex. She wrote a lot of things about this subject in her diary. She even narrated baldly about how female sexual organ looked like. First, she raised the concern why her parents were unwilling to talk and teach them about sex. I can answer for their parents, “Because of conservative thoughts.” It is a common phenomenon in Taiwan; my parents also talk nothing about sex to me. Second, since she couldn’t get the answer from parents, she went for Peter. But this time, there was a slight embarrassed.

Difficulty started to lie in front of Anne. Anne found out that Margot liked Peter, too. The two girls had some letters to each other. Anne agreed that Margot could join them in the attic; however, Anne started to feel disturbed when Margot really came. Anne’s mother forbade her to go for Peter. There’s no doubt that every Mother will ask her daughter not to get along with boys too often, especially it was Anne who threw herself on Peter. Mr. Frank did not involve; I think that he didn’t like Anne’s behavior, either. If he did, he would back up Anne. Mrs. Van Daan felt jealous because the two in love were so young. Everyone in the house became tetched.
